The best part is YOU are in charge of your experience! Your scavenger hunt can be enjoyed from anywhere in the Tahoe Basin – pick your favorite trail or walk and practice social distancing.

After your scavenger hunt join us for a virtual mixology lesson where we will cheers to your time outside and expand upon the items you found in nature through cocktails. And the best part, your signature cocktails are Tahoe themed and easy to recreate at post-COVID gatherings!

Welcome to the original Tahoe scavenger hunt and mixology class! Join us as we raise money for local COVID affected businesses.

How to play

Get outside and have an adventure in Tahoe, then go inside and make yourself a drink!

Sign up to get access to your personal portal. Here you will find scavenger hunt rules and clues, plus a link to your mixology class. To play simply follow the clues to collect points, then join us after for your mixology class. Be sure to pay close attention during your scavenger hunt, as some clues will be revealed during your class.

Follow clues and identify plants and animals common to the Sierra Nevadas. Play from anywhere within the Tahoe Basin & Truckee. Go at your own pace, choose your trail or walk.

All Ages

The scavenger hunt is a fun activity for all ages. Earn points based on the number of clues you find. Compete against other teams by entering your final score onto our leaderboard.

We provide a list of all materials needed when you sign up. No professional equipment required; minimal supplies.

How does the Scavenger Hunt work?

After you sign up for your course you will be directed to a portal with your scavenger hunt information and a list of clues. You have 4 hours to complete your hunt. Acquire points by identifying your clues in the wilderness. Points range from 1-5 based on our perceived difficulty of finding the item.



How many people can play?

As many people as you can fit around one screen.



How long does it last?

You will have 48 hours of access to your portal once you sign up. Your scavenger hunt is on a timer, so once you click “start scavenger hunt” your timer will begin and you have 4 hours to log your points from your hunt to be included on our leaderboard.



How does the Mixology Class work?

Our live classes are broadcasted over Zoom. You will need a Zoom profile to access your mixology class! You will find a link to your Zoom class when you sign into your portal.



What supplies do I need?

When you sign up you will find a list of supplies we suggest for your scavenger hunt and mixology class in your portal. Make sure you have your supplies for your mixology class!



Who can participate?

Anyone within the greater Lake Tahoe area. The scavenger hunt was designed for all ages, and the mixology class is 21 and up.
